Bands, Brew & BBQ at SeaWorld

Bands, Brew & BBQ

Bands, Brew and BBQ

I’m a country girl at heart. I grew up with the old country sounds of Alabama and Waylon Jennings and I love the new country from bands like Lady Antebellum and singers like Blake Shelton. Why am I telling you this? I’m lucky enough to live within driving distance of SeaWorld and they have an event every year called Bands, Brew & BBQ.

Everyone in the house woke up yesterday and I decided that we (I) needed to go see the artist that was performing at yesterday’s concert. One of my favorite country male singers, Chris Young. I hear you now, “Yep. He’s cute.” You really should have seen him live, because I think he was even hotter. Oops, I mean, I think he sounded even better.

Honestly, how much better does it get with your favorite musicians, some great BBQ and a cold beer? Doesn’t get much better especially with this Florida weather. My husband was so sweet, he offered to take the kids to watch Shamu and then get some ice cream while I got to sit, relax and watch Chris Young perform for over an hour. He sang some of my favorite songs, such as “The Dashboard”, “The Man I Want to Be” and “I Can Take It From There.”

I have SeaWorld annual passes for the family because they are reasonably priced considering there are no exclusion dates and they are open 365 days a year. Plus, the fact that we go once a month or more makes it a great deal for us. Adding to the fact that the concert is included with your ticket makes it even better! We’ll be going back to see Josh Turner, Rodney Atkins and Sheryl Crow before the event ends.

Now, I did not purchase any VIP tickets, but they are available for an additional charge. Meals and drinks are an additional charge as well.

Bands, Brew and BBQ at SeaWorld lasts from February 9 – March 17 and all concerts are included with the price of your ticket.
