Cook’n Recipe Organizer Review and Giveaway Ends 7/1

I was excited to get the opportunity to review the Cook’n Recipe Organizer.  It’s all online software, so I didn’t have to wait for the mail. I just opened my email and clicked on the link to download. Super-easy installation. Let me share some information as well as my review with you, then go ahead and enter to win a copy for yourself!

Cook’n Software site states:
The easiest way to…
Enter your own recipes easily
Type ingredients you have on hand to get recipe ideas
Sync with your iPhone and Android so you can access in your kitchen
Drag & Drop your recipes to make custom menus
Auto-generate shopping lists by aisle
Calculate nutrition of your recipes
Print a family cookbook to share with friends
Scale recipes to adjust serving sizes
Email recipes to your family and friends

To be honest I was a little intimidated when I opened the software because there is a lot of information included. I jumped right in and started typing my recipes in the computer using the Cook’n Recipe Organizer and making my own cookbook, once I learned the basics it was fun. I have started building a Slow Cooker cookbook that uses recipes I find using the Cook’n Software internet search, then I click the “Capture” button and the software builds my recipe card for me!

It even gives me a Star Rating system so I can decide if I like it after I make it. It really thinks of everything for me. I just need to get online more often and grab some recipes. In addition to the internet search feature, you can use the pre-loaded cookbooks that are provided so that you can build your personal cookbook.

I like the fact that the Cook’n Software makes my life easier.  I am able to sit down at the computer once a week and plan the meals for my family. If a recipe is written for 8 people, I can change it to 4 people and the software changes all the ratios for me! I can also find all the nutritional information and build a grocery list all right there. I love easy!
