I am thrilled that it is finally summer. That means lots of trips to the beach to enjoy the Florida sunshine. It also means cookouts and hanging out at the pool. Summer has always been a time for fun, sun, and relaxing with family. Growing up, we spent a lot of time at the beach and with the beach came barbeques and ice cream. I mean, who didn’t love ice cream during summer?

A little bit about the Drumstick history
Nestlé Drumstick is the Original Sundae Cone. In 1928, the Parker Brothers took the waffle cone to the next level by adding a chocolate coating to ice cream and covering the top with nuts. One of the brothers’ wives said it looked like a fried chicken leg and thus, the “Drumstick” novelty was born!
Recently, we picked up a box of Nestlé Drumstick Cookie Dipped. I had not tried this variety before but it did not disappoint. Of course, ice cream in a cone and covered with chocolate cannot ever disappoint. You can tell from the pictures that the kids loved it.
