Surprise!
I’ve been keeping a HUGE SECRET, but I can let the cat out of the bag now. I’m getting on a plane this morning and heading to California! What’s in California, you ask? Something I couldn’t turn down. The Rogue One Event is happening this weekend!
This Florida girl has never been to San Francisco before, but that changes today! I’m flying to San Francisco to spend the next three days covering ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY, Star Wars Rebels, Disney Junior’s “Mickey and the Roadster Racers,” and the upcoming release of PINOCCHIO on Digital HD and Blu-ray.
Rogue One
Wait for it…we’ll be attending a ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY (opening in theatres on 12/16) presentation and reception at Skywalker Ranch, as well as interview talent and filmmakers at Lucasfilm HQ. I know, right? It’s going to be an amazing experience.
Before the interviews, we’ll have the chance to screen two new episodes of “Star Wars Rebels”. My kids aren’t so thrilled that I’ll see those episodes before they will, but they are excited at the chance I might share some tidbits with them when I get home. 😉
Who will we be interviewing? Let me tell you! Diego Luna (“Cassian”), Felicity Jones (“Jyn”), Riz Ahmed (“Bodhi”), Ben Mendelsohn (“Krennic”), Donnie Yen (“Chirrut”), Alan Tudyk (“K2SO”), Mads Mikkelson (“Galen”), Director Gareth Edwards, and “Star Wars Rebels” Executive Producer Dave Filoni. Wow! Such a great group on interviewees and I cannot wait. Let me know what questions you have for the talent or filmmakers?
“Mickey and the Roadster Racers”
That’s not all we’ll be doing, though. While we’re in San Francisco we’ll being joining Disney Junior at he Walt Disney Family Museum for a special screening event of the upcoming animated series “Mickey and the Roadster Racers,” a madcap car-racing adventure for preschoolers featuring Disney’s #1 star, Mickey Mouse, and his pals Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Daisy and Donald. Premiering January 2017, the series takes the Sensational Six and their uniquely personalized vehicles on humorous high-spirited races around the globe plus hometown capers in Hot Dog Hills. After the screening, Rob LaDuca (Executive Producer) and Mark Seidenberg (Co-Executive Producer/Supervising Story Editor) will participate in a Question & Answer session with us.
PINOCCHIO
And in celebration of the upcoming release of PINOCCHIO on Digital HD and Blu-ray (Date TBA), we’ll be taken on a guided tour of the Walt Disney Family Museum’s special exhibit “Wish Upon A Star: The Art of Pinocchio”!
I know that it’s going to be a quick three days, but we will be packing so much excitement into those three days. I cannot wait to share it all with you.
