How can you spend less and save more at Target? I have a few tips for your next shopping trip.

I’m one of those people that can walk around Target for an hour, or two. Maybe not even buy anything, just walk around because it gives me a sense of calm. Don’t ask, not sure why. I can tell you that if I go at 8 AM, I can grab a coffee and be perfectly content to walk around for a bit before starting to work for the day.

On the days I do have a grocery list or my must-buy list for Target, I plan it out ahead of time. I print Target Coupons for the items that I want to buy and then check to see if there is a deal on my phone with the Cartwheel App. Can I just mention now how much I’ve saved just by using the Cartwheel App and my REDCard debit card? Last year I saved over $250 just by using those two things. I didn’t even keep track of the coupons, so I know that I’ve saved even more than that if you include coupons.

Today, save on Kashi Chocolate Crunch Cereal at Target for $1.94 with Cartwheel.

I’ve also added Ibotta to my list of ways to save money at Target because I can earn money back on things that I’m already buying! I’ve already gotten a couple of payouts from Ibotta through PayPal and it’s an easy way to put cash in your pocket with every shopping trip. Download the free app from Ibotta.com.

Do you use any of these apps? What is your favorite money saving app?
