Sunrise on Florida’s Space Coast #TuckawayShores

Disclosure: I received an all-expense paid (excluding travel expenses) trip to Florida’s Space Coast as part of a media trip. All opinions are completely my own.

You may have followed along on Instagram and Twitter last week, as I was visiting Florida’s Space Coast and Tuckaway Shores. I spent my first morning on the beach, watching the sunrise. I stood there for an hour and I had so many emotions running through me. You see, my family used to spend summers at the beach when I was growing up and my mom would always be up before the sunrise and she would go sit on the beach and watch as the sun rose along the sky line.

Next month, it will be four years since my mom passed away from ovarian cancer. I spent my time on the beach thinking about her and wishing she was sitting next to me watching this beautiful sunrise. This moment was incredibly personal to me and I was glad I had some time alone on the beach with my thoughts.

I wanted to share some of my favorite shots from that first morning I spent at Tuckaway Shores on Florida’s Space Coast. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Didn’t get enough? How about a video of the morning?

    1. Thanks, Jason. It was great meeting you, as well. I sure miss how quiet it was on the beach, but happy to be home with my family. I’m sure we’ll go back soon.
