Valentine’s M&M and Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe
The basic chocolate chip recipe that I am using was found on the back of the Aldi Baker’s Corner Chocolate Chips bag. I added M&M’s, reduced the amount of chocolate chips, and adjusted the cooking time. The first batch came out a bit over cooked, but once I reduced the cooking time they were perfect.
My kids went crazy for them because they were so yummy. We will definitely be making these again before Valentine’s Day.
Valentine's M&M and Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 cup M&Ms
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Line sheets with parchment paper or spray with cooking spray
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, and vanilla
- Gradually add flour to the mixture and continue beating until combined
- Stir in chocolate chips and M&M's
- Drop by teaspoonful onto baking sheets, at least 2 inches apart
- Bake for 10 - 12 minutes
- Cool on wire rack
