Comfy Sacks Bean Bag Chairs Review

Remember those small, styrofoam filled bean bags of our childhood? That’s what I had when I was small. Now, bean bags are bigger and better! Comfy Sacks sent me a couple to review and they are awesome. I chose the 3.5 Foot Bean Bag Chair Sack for each of my children, one in Magenta and one in Royal Blue.

When they were delivered, I wasn’t sure what to think. They came together, in one box, and the foam was encased in a lining and it felt like it was vacuum sealed for shipping. We unpacked the two foam-filled liners and the covers and my husband started pulling apart the foam (inside the liner) to make the inside of the bean bag soft and fluffy. I was so impressed that the furniture grade foam was encased in a separate liner and then there is a cover to put on top of that. There will never be any issue with foam falling on the floor because it is so well made.

The kids have so much fun sitting on the bean bags and they play on them for hours, running, jumping and falling into the bean bags. They are bigger than I thought they would be and even my husband can lay down on them and have room to snuggle with the kids. I’ve been sitting in the bean bag chairs when I’m playing with the kids and they really are super-comfortable.

Here’s a snippet from the Comfy Sacks Website:

The 3.5 ft Sack is perfect for small children. It is larger than traditional bean bag chairs and is about 10 times more comfortable! All Comfy Sacks come with an internal liner that allows for the cover to be taken off and machine washed at your home. You won’t have to worry about vacuuming up the foam pellets that fall out of traditional bean bags either because all Comfy Sacks have an internal liner and use polyurethane foam which is the same foam used in high end couches. NO STYROFOAM PELLETS HERE!!!! In addition you also won’t have to worry about having to throw out the Comfy Sack as a result of it going flat like a traditional bean bag chair. We use high grade furniture foam that will not only outlast you but also your kids. It’s unique memory allows it to go back to it’s original shape instead of permanently flattening like the Styrofoam pellets in bean bags.

I’m so glad I got the opportunity to review the Comfy Sacks Bean Bag Chairs because they really are comfortable, safe and fun. The kids are happy and I would recommend Comfy Sacks to anyone looking for a great bean bag chair or lounger. They would make a great gift this holiday season.

Disclosure: I received the products from Comfy Sacks in return for my honest opinion. All opinions are completely my own.

  1. Thank you so much for the update and review regarding bean bags, we have 7 grandkiddos and are thinking of getting a few for here.

  2. Thank you for providing the information on the new bean bags. I had a few as a child and would love to get another. They come in handy with company.

  3. The mess you get when they get a hole is what I was worried about and why I haven’t bought any for my grandsons, now I see no more mess. And it seems they are a lot more sturdy and hold up to being jumped on. Great review.

  4. These look extra comfy! I need to get two – one for each of my boys!! πŸ˜‰ Thanks for the review!!!

  5. My cousin bought 4 beanbags for Christmas, for her kids, her hubby, and herself. She did not realize how big they were when she ordered them…The four of them take up her entire (large) living room! All four members of her family can fit on ONE bean bag! They are the coolest I’ve ever seen…not like when I was a kid.

    1. Carla,

I know. I didn’t realize how big they were going to be when I ordered them. They are HUGE. πŸ˜€

  7. Hi,

You have had this comfy sack for awhile now- how has it held up long term? We are thinking of getting one but reviews are scarce online from someone who has had one longer than a month. πŸ™‚ Thanks!

    1. Hi Aimee,

We’ve had both Comfy Sacks for over a year and they are still in one piece. The kids like to jump on them and we sit and read books on them every day. We love them.
