CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER OPENS TODAY

The time has come. Really! CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER opens in theaters TODAY!! Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and Produced by President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige, this is a true action movie that includes suspense, conspiracy, and friendship. It also includes some great acting talent like Robert Redford and Samuel L. Jackson.

What are you waiting for? I’ve been talking about this movie for a month now and (yes!) I’ve seen it. Now, I’m taking my hubby to see it and I’m telling you to go see it!

5 reasons you should see CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER in theaters

• You don’t have to go alone. Your wife/spouse/significant other/friend who’s a girl will enjoy herself. Why? Let me count the ways: Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie. If that isn’t enough, Scarlett Johansson kicks some major butt as Black Widow and she looks amazing doing it!
• Action, Action, and more Action! Gun fights, amazing stunts, and kick butt fighting scenes
• You watch Cap grow in this new ‘world’ and new environment. There are still some things that Cap isn’t sure of yet, but following is gut is a sure-fire way to get the truth.
• The Winter Soldier is a character that is strong, but broken. He is missing a part of himself that others are keeping locked away. I want MORE of The Winter Soldier’s story.
• Did I mention Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, and Scarlett Johansson? This cast is awesome and they all have such amazing chemistry that this movie rocked from beginning to end.

Honestly, I’m not an action movie person. Sweet, sappy, romance chick flick? More my style, but let me tell you that I was on the edge of my seat THE ENTIRE time watching the scenes unfold. Hiding behind my hands for some of it, holding my breath for a bit, and actually clapping during the movie. Yes! I found myself literally clapping when I got excited. I know, I know. I’m a dork. Just ask Dawn at Blogging Mom of 4 because she was sitting right next to me. I may have grabbed her arm at one point because I got excited or scared or maybe I was just swooning over Captain America. Who knows? It was so good!

But the end isn’t really the end so be sure to sit through both sets of credits. It will totally be worth it.
