A few days ago I took the family to Chili’s for dinner. We’ve always loved the food selection at Chili’s and I was ready to try something different. When I looked at the new menu I saw a Pepper Guide so that I could actually pick my level of spiciness. How cool is that? They have a range of flavors and this let me read about the specific pepper flavors and the guide helped me choose which meal to select.

I chose the Roasted Red Pepper Grilled Chicken and wow! It was amazing. I love anything with roasted red peppers, but this was zesty cream sauce and covered with Monterey Jack cheese. This is definitely one of my favorite dishes. My husband went with the Smoky Chipotle chicken fajitas because it had the chipotle pesto sauce with the Monterey Jack cheese. He really liked the fact that it was topped with the crispy onion strings.

Smoky Chipotle Chicken Fajitas – Sizzling grilled chicken, sautéed onions and bell peppers kicked-up with chipotle pesto sauce and melted Monterey Jack cheese. Topped with crispy onion strings. http://imgur.com/Fk6J6

Santa Cruz Steak – 100% USDA Choice 6 oz. sirloin topped with seasoned butter and a side of tangy verde sauce. Served over fire-roasted corn salsa with jalapeño-cheddar mashed potatoes. http://imgur.com/iO5nf

Roasted Red Pepper Grilled Chicken – Grilled chicken breast served over a zesty roasted red pepper cream sauce. Topped with melted pepper Jack cheese and served with rice and steamed broccoli. http://imgur.com/JSJ1F

Chipotle Salmon – Seared Cajun-spiced salmon with a smoky chipotle-garlic pesto cream sauce. Served with rice and steamed broccoli. http://imgur.com/J3q5N

The Santa Cruz Steak, Smoky Chipotle Chicken Fajitas and Roasted Red Pepper Grilled Chicken are even on Chili’s 2 for $20 menu.

You can stop in at your local Chili’s to try the new menu selection known as ‘Pick-A-Pepper.’ Playing off of the Chili’s name, they are letting guests know there is more to chile peppers than just spice. From sweet to heat, they’re showcasing a new line of dishes displaying the versatility and multiple flavors of chiles.

In celebration of the new Pick-A-Pepper menu selections, Chili’s is offering one of my readers a $20 Chili’s Gift Card.
