Disclosure: I received 4 media tickets to Animal Kingdom to facilitate this post. All opinions are completely my own.
Pandora at Animal Kingdom
My kids have always enjoyed Animal Kingdom, because animals, but now that they’ve added Pandora – The World of Avatar to the attractions the love is that much stronger. The world is stunning and it’s like walking into another land. Brightly colored foliage and floating rocks can be found everywhere you look while you’re inside Pandora. It’s an overload for your senses and is wondrous for the kids.
Na’vi River Journey
We journeyed down the Na’vi River twice during our visit to Pandora and my daughter was wanting a third ride (she and my hubby went one more time) before we left. It’s a beautiful trip filled with magnificent sights and beautiful sounds.
Note: if you can book Fast Passes ahead of time – do it! This is such an amazing ride and skipping the line makes it that much more fun.
Glide down a gentle, mysterious river and feel a sense of wonder as the full beauty of Pandora reveals itself. Located within the Valley of Mo’ara, Na’vi River Journey offers explorers an experience that has to be seen—and heard—to be believed!
As your expedition begins, climb aboard a reed boat and drift downstream. After coasting through a series of caves, and passing by exotic glowing plants and amazing creatures of the rainforest, you’ll soon find yourself face-to-face with the Na’vi Shaman of Songs.
The adventure comes to a conclusion as the Shaman demonstrates her deep connection to the life force of Pandora—and sends positive energy out into the forest through the power of her music!
Exploring at Night
We explored Pandora during the day and then came back to explore it at night. Wow. All I can say is it is incredible and make sure you’ve at least walked through it during the day because it is totally dark at night. It’s so dark so that you can see the bioluminescent flowers and plants and everything that makes Pandora beautiful.
The kids (and hubby) give Pandora – The World of Avatar 10 thumbs up and cannot wait to return for more adventuring. There is just so much to explore that I can’t wait to see it again.
