We’re so busy running around during the week and sometimes we just don’t stop often enough to enjoy the little things. As the kids are getting older, they are taking part in more activities and are keeping us on our toes. It’s nice to just take a break from all the outside influences of life and just spend time with the family. That’s why we have game night. I usually make something in the Slow Cooker and we bring out the games, then I like to surprise the family with a little something sweet.
This week, I decided on my easy slow cooker BBQ Chicken Sliders with some fries and coleslaw for dinner. I followed up with some of our favorite games. Board games for the young ones and cards for the adults. After getting everyone settled in with their games, I got started on my quick surprise dessert.
What’s the surprise dessert tonight? Easy and quick 5-Minute Toaster Oven S’mores! Who needs a campfire to enjoy these extremely delicious desserts? You don’t! The oven, the fireplace, and the toaster oven are all great alternatives to using a campfire.
I made sure that I had everything on hand before I even started dinner. I didn’t have to look very far because, on any given day, you are sure to find all three of these ingredients in my pantry. If you can’t find the items in your pantry, no worries! They can all be found in your local Walmart on this special aisle display.
5-Minute Toaster Oven S’mores Recipe
Ingredients
- 8 Honey Maid Graham Cracker Squares
- 4 Kraft Jet Puffed Marshmallows
- 1 Hershey’s Chocolate Bar
Ingredients will be enough for 4 servings of one each. Adjust amounts if you will be serving more people.
Steps to make S’mores deliciousness
1. Place 4 Honey Made Graham Cracker Squares face down on a toaster oven tray or on a foil-lined rack.
2. Place a quarter of the Hershey’s Chocolate Bar on each of the graham cracker squares.
3. Top each square and chocolate with one Kraft Jet Puffed marshmallow.
4. Close toaster oven and choose toast setting; press start.
5. When toaster oven is done, marshmallows should be toasted. Open and carefully top each with remaining Honey Maid Graham Cracker Square.
I made four at a time, but I could have easily upped that to six with the size of the toaster oven.
