su************@gm***.com my favorite potty training tip is make it fun, if the child has a good feeling about going potty it is easier to get them to do it.
Sue, I used CARS stickers for a little while when I was beginning to potty train my son, now I’m trying to find something to make it fun for my daughter to use the potty. I’m lucky that she is so much more willing to learn to use the potty than my son ever was.
For potty training, use rewards- but not sweets!

Great tip, Jenna. Thanks!
My favorite potty training tip is to not apply too much pressure to the child!
Thanks April. I totally agree!
fave tip–if it is super hard, take a break and wait till they are ready!
Absolutely! Thanks for the great tip.
Rachel, I will have to check that book out!
Lots of patience, and consistency…and high fives 😉 hehe
Luckily, we love high fives in this house. Thanks for the reminder about patience!
We use mm’s for our reward system and as an added bonus we learn colors!
Great idea for teaching colors & potty training. Thanks!
Take off their pants and let them run around outside. 🙂 Not in a public place, of course.
Of course! Thanks for the tip, Deborah.
Great tip. Thanks!
I’ve heard several people say they use use m&m’s as rewards. But we’re not doing too well with the potty training yet. She only tells me AFTER she’s done something.
I was never able to make the M&M’s work with my son. Stickers seemed to be more incentive to him.
I’m sure something will “click” and she’ll be going for you in no time. I just keep telling myself that it is just one day at a time or one hour at a time. Accidents will happen, just move on and stay positive.
Thanks for the comment.
my fav tip is to keep on it asked and take them ever 30mins to 1 hour and 10- 15 after they eat/ drink and no drinks after 7 for my son was trained in 3 day my daughter is getting ready to train in the nexted few weeks she gonna be 2 so its time! =)

That’s awesome that your son was trained in 3 days! Thanks for the tip.
My best tip is to wait until they’re ready. If it’s obvious that they aren’t yet then don’t push it- they will be ready eventually and it will be so much easier on both of you if they are truly ready
Thanks for the tip, Missy!
MY son loved to pee outside, that’s how he learned:)
Don’t push them at too early of an age. You will know when it’s time.
