MARVEL STUDIOS AVENGERS: ENDGAME

As my husband has already pointed out to everyone (and I wholeheartedly agree) – AVENGERS: ENDGAME is a movie of epic proportions. A few reasons for epic status: the sheer number of characters in the film, their storylines – both individual and where they intersect, and the fact that MCU has been building for years to make this fantastic film.

The action feels like it is its own character. Yes, this film is 3 hours long but the action builds, grows, and slows back down just long enough so that it doesn’t feel like you are sitting there for three hours. Although, you may need to use the restroom during those three hours – just make it quick!

It doesn’t take long for AVENGERS: ENDGAME to suck you in and keep you on edge. From the first scene to the last you will be a ball of emotion. I laughed, I cried, and I clapped my hands off (not literally). The theater was about a third full (closed screening) and we were still a loud bunch when it came to clapping and screaming out for our favorite characters.

For us parents out there let’s talk language. This is a Marvel film and it’s rated PG-13 and there is swearing. That being said I have a 10-year-old who has seen all the Marvel films and we will take him to see Avengers: Endgame.

AVENGERS: ENDGAME can be summed up like this: it is more emotionally exhausting than Infinity War but intensely gratifying. It’s a movie that you have to digest and think about, talk about and watch again.

AVENGERS: ENDGAME opens in theaters on April 26th.
