You are either one or the other – you are waiting in line the day after Thanksgiving (or Thanksgiving night) or you are at home, staying as far away from the crowds as possible. I used to be a Black Friday power shopper, until I had kids. 😉 Now, you will find me getting the best online deals the day after Thanksgiving, but I’m done fighting the crowds at the mall.
Some of the items on my kids’ wish lists are Hot Wheels race tracks, My Little Pony toys, and a LeapFrog Leapster. The kids are always trying to give me “hints” as to what they are wanting for Christmas. Sometimes it is as easy as my son and daughter (they are 5 and 3, respectively) finding an ad in the newspaper and asking me to look through it with them so they can point out their favorite toys.
