I will share a short little story. I don’t remember getting my first bra. I’m sure I got one because that’s life and obviously we have to wear them to be part of “normal” society. Bless your heart, you know that’s the first thing you ditch when you get home.
But it’s not the story I will share today. I have a daughter and she’s 9 years old and (cross your fingers) years away from needing to go undergarment shopping. That’s more my wish than reality but I will hide under a rock for a while longer. The story I have is about a company that goes that extra bit, they take the time to personalize and wrap their packages, add stickers, and throw in some extras so that the recipient (a young lady) feels special.

I’m in the midst of my Holiday Gift Guide here on the blog and it’s my busy season. Bleuet asked if I wanted to try their product, or specifically, my daughter wanted to try their product I had to think to myself, “Is this something she needs, wants, or would use.” A resounding yes because I want her to get used to wearing camisoles or undergarments before she really needs them. Personally, I think it will help with the transition to bras.
What I wasn’t expecting were the extra touches that they added to the Bleuet shipment – the personalized note, the scrunchies, the pin, the tissue paper. All of those items came together to make my daughter feel like this was a gift, something to treasure. The reason I’m sharing this post separate from the gift guide is that Bleuet stands out from the others. It’s so nice to see a company improving the self-esteem of young girls and helping them transition into this next stage.
The camisole from Bleuet was a perfect choice for her because it’s soft and smooth and provides the growing girl coverage she may need. She loves the vibrant colors and the fact that it is soft under her clothing. And those scrunchies? They are always on her wrist or in her hair. She says that they don’t tug or pull her hair like a normal hair tie which to her is like heaven.

This sounds perfect for a young girl. This would be a perfect thing for grandparents,aunts/uncles or special friends could gift to her for birthday, christmas etc.
