My all-time favorite teacher was Mr. Mertiz, my high school art teacher. He taught me that just because my art looked a little “different” than what I was used to didn’t mean it was bad. He taught me to see the entire world through new eyes. What more could I have asked for from a teacher?

  3. My favorite teacher is Mrs. Griffin. She taught me computer classes as well as led FBLA and took me to compete in the national competition πŸ™‚

  4. My favorite teacher was my 1st grade teacher, but we seen her for many years after that. She’s had the most impact during my school years.

  5. My Freshman and Senior English teacher. He was great — and he helped shape my future career as an English instructor!

  6. My favorite teacher was a professor at IUP. Dr. Glor-Sheib. I also really enjoyed Dr. Bright from Shippensburg U.

  7. My favorite teacher was Miss Siebert. She was my 3rd grade teacher who liked our class so much that she asked to move up and become our 4th grade teacher the next year and the school let her. She was very inventive and a lot of fun.

  14. I had too many teachers who had an abundance of knowledge to share with us all, and I loved being in their class. The one teacher that I appreciated the most was in high school, Mr. Wood. I am saddened that he is now retired, but he has a long legacy as an educator, and he will always be remembered as a wonderful man and teacher!

  15. I took the same teacher for a few classes…an Economics class and I was her teacher’s assistant my senior year

  16. My kindergarten teacher has to be my all time favorite. She became almost like a second mother to me. My mom had breast cancer that year and Mrs. Jones always was there for me. She passed away a few years back but I will never forget her.

  17. I loved my 1st grade teacher Mrs. Scheffler! She must have retired not many more years later. She was so sweet and kind to everyone. And I also loved my 4th grade teacher, but for the life of me I can’t remember her last name…her first name was Judy. She was the teacher who had spelling bees and class games to help everyone learn. And she gave out “stickers” for good behavior and good grades, etc…that could be traded in for cool prizes from her box of goodies that she would bring out of her teachers’ closet! And these were cool prizes…I think I traded in my stickers for a Jim Croce album once! (Yes, I’m THAT old!)
