Epcot’s 2019 International Flower & Garden Festival
Family fun and beautiful flowers make visiting Epcot this time of year spectacular! From topiaries and colorful blooms to butterflies and memories Epcot’s International Flower & Garden Festival has you covered. For someone like my daughter who loves flowers – her visit was a dream come true. She even took her camera along to grab some snaps.
My son’s favorite Disney-themed topiary was Lightning McQueen and Mater, while my daughter’s favorites were “all of them!” Here are some of my favorites.
Other topiaries can be found throughout Epcot and include Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, Winnie-the-Pooh and friends, Stitch, Snow White and Dopey, Simba and friends, Beauty and the Beast and more.
I could look at flowers all day, every day and not get bored. The blooms beautiful and smell fantastic. I find that I’m more relaxed when I’m surrounded by flowers. So, spending the day at Epcot’s International Flower & Garden Festival totally mellowed me out. Sometimes that’s all you need – to get in touch with nature. A Dole Whip doesn’t hurt, either. 😉
Find all the beautiful butterflies in the flowers and gardens throughout the park. Be sure to check out the special enclosed butterfly garden where you can find them in one place. Beautiful butterflies fluttering and chrysalises just waiting to open.
The kids can enjoy their own garden – and musical instruments, in the featured Play Gardens.
There are plenty of food options throughout the park and even some event-themed treats. As for us, we stopped for a snack in Germany we found the largest pretzel ever! Then we went and found some Mickey Mouse Ice Cream, of course.
What are your traditions are when you head to Epcot? Favorite food or favorite attraction? Let me know.
