My #OneWord365 Gratitude

#OneWord365

gratitude

With 2015 less than a week away, I’ve been thinking how I could make a change in my life. I don’t normally follow through with New Years Resolutions, but I think that blogging about one goal throughout the year is a more meaningful goal.

The word I’ve chosen is GRATITUDE.

noun.

meaning: the quality or feeling of being grateful or thankful:

synonyms include: thanks, thankfulness, appreciation, gratefulness.

Why did I choose this word for my #OneWord365? Because I have had a lot of blessings recently and think that I’ve shown gratitude, but I always feel that I can be more/do more when it comes to showing gratitude. Honestly, it doesn’t have to be much, a simple “thank you” here or a gift basket there. Even a hug says so much and I’d like to show those I love and even those I don’t know a little bit of gratitude over the 2015 year.

Do you slow down long enough to show gratitude to those around you? What are some of the ways that you show gratitude?

I’d love to come up with some new ideas and incorporate them into the blog. Let me know what your one word for 2015 will be.
