alternaVites KiDS Multivitamin & Mineral

My kids are pretty good at taking their vitamins, but it’s always nice when I can find a vitamin that they ask to take. alternaVites KiDS Multivitamin & Mineral looks and tastes like candy, so my kids remind me every morning that it’s time for vitamins.  My kids are four and six, so I’m extra cautious on what I let them eat. Not too many snacks, and loads of fresh fruits and veggies. My daughter loves fruits and veggies, but my son is a little pickier. With alternaVites, I know that both my kids are getting the vitamins and minerals he needs on a daily basis, even when he’s being picky.

You remember the candy when we were younger that came in a tube and you sprinkled on your tongue? alternaVites reminds me of that! The good news is that it has ZERO grams of sugar, no artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners. I’ve tried the quick-melting powder myself and it tastes really good. The kids love both the Raspberry Cotton Candy and Strawberry Bubble Gum flavors and usually switch flavors each day.

I pour it directly on the kids’ tongues, but I’ve also poured the powder in vanilla yogurt and the kids loved it that way, too.

 We went strawberry picking the other day and had a blast. When I made homemade strawberry milkshakes, I added a packet of the Strawberry Bubble Gum flavored alternaVites and the kids loved it. I think they ask for the alternaVites as opposed to other vitamins because they taste great and they’re fun to eat. Kids like things that are different and fun, and we’ve added alternaVites to their favorites list.
