Honest College Reviews Help With Decisions

When should I start researching College Reviews? I haven’t been to college in over 15 years, but my husband went back to school a year ago. Luckily, we have a college nearby that he is able to attend until he finishes his first degree. After that, though, it gets tricky.

He will either have to commute 2 hours each way to attend class or we will need to move to be closer to the college or university. How do you make that decision? He has researched the colleges and the degrees available at each one, but hasn’t actually spoken with anyone there to get information that will help make us make the decision.

How do we get honest college reviews? By actually reading comments and reviews from actual students who are attending that college or university. Once my husband gets closer to his degree, that’s exactly what we are going to do. I’m sure he wants to know about the academics at each university and which classes are best taken online versus a traditional classroom setting. I think that reading the reviews and comments will make a huge difference in which college or university he decides to attend. That’s a big decision and not one to be taken lightly.

Also, if we do need to move, what neighborhoods are recommended that are near the campus. Is there anything else I should be thinking about when making this decision?
