Self Storage in San Diego, California

Have you ever looked around at all of the stuff in your house and said “I need storage“? We all have at some point in our lives. I said it after I got married and moved in with my husband. Of course, we were consolidating two apartments into one and didn’t have room for everything we owned. This was before kids, and we realized the best thing to do was rent a storage unit for everything that we wanted to keep until we bought our first house.

Storage units are the easiest way to store items when you are living in a small dorm room in college and need a place for all your belongings. It’s also a great option for for storing your things if you are downsizing and need to store some items temporarily.

What kind of items can be stored? Well, I’ll tell you that I’ve personally stored furniture, books, kitchen items, clothing and lots of boxes! If you are in need of storage in California, check out I Need Storage. They have an online directory of self storage facilities in San Diego, including RV and boat storage.

In need of storage in another city? No problem. They’ve got a comprehensive list on the I Need Storage website narrowed by zip code and city. They also have moving boxes and supplies to make moving your things into storage even easier.

  1. I have done storage before in my life too. I have a tendency to be a pack rat so as I am getting older I am learning to get rid of things. It is hard sometimes but it seems like when you get rid of the junk you don’t need it makes life easier

  2. I’ve never used a storage unit, but I might look into it as I unfortunately have two residences that are about 3 hours apart. I’m renting out a single room in the other one and the place is fully-furnished with the exception of a bed in the second bedroom, but I may be better off renting it out empty and putting all my stuff in storage. I’ll have to check into it..thanks for the review.

  3. While deciding for an Boats and RV’s storage, it has to be treated differently when they are being put into storage for a few months or long-term storage. Below are a few storage tips that will allow continued use of these vehicles after storage. For both boats and RV’s make sure that you repair anything before putting the vehicle into storage. Also, make sure that you have current license plate and insurance information for your vehicles. Thanks for the informative post 🙂
