BSN Syntha-6 Protein Powder Chocolate Milkshake Review

I’ve been using the Syntha-6 Protein Powder for about two months now and I’ve been very impressed with the results. I try to replace either breakfast or lunch with a shake about five days a week. In the past two months I’ve lost about 10 pounds. I know that doesn’t sound like a lot, but since that’s the only modification I’ve made to my eating habits I think it’s a good start.

The protein powder shakes actually taste like a milkshake. My husband has been using Syntha-6 for the last year and has always recommended it, but I finally took the plunge to try it out. I’ve tried it with both water and also with milk. Both taste great, but actually putting it in a blender with milk and ice is my preference.

My Peanut Butter Chocolate Milkshake Recipe

I make this in a single serving Bullet Blender.

Add 8 ounces of milk, a few pieces of ice, one scoop of Syntha-6 Protein Powder Chocolate Milkshake, and one tablespoon of natural peanut butter. Blend until ice is broken and it is a thin milkshake consistency.

My husband has purchased this product from another store, but when he saw the price that Vitacost was selling it for he couldn’t pass it up. BSN Syntha-6 Protein Powders are available at Vitacost. Want to check out Vitacost? Feel free to use my invite link to save $10 on your first purchase of $30 or more.

  1. I have been considering using a protein powder in a smoothie or shake for breakfast. I seem to hop online first thing and then it’s hours before I realize I’m starving to death. I really need to get more protein in my diet…and less sugar and carbs!

    1. I would definitely recommend trying this one, it really does taste like a chocolate milkshake. 😀

  2. I’m only just started using protein powders in an attempt to mix up my weight loss regiment. I’m new to it, but it does help when all I’ve been eating for breakfast for months is oatmeal. Not only that, but it seems to be helping with overall pounds lost! Thanks for reviewing this product, I keep hearing about Vitacost, now I have more of a reason to check out their website.

  3. I also consume one scoop of whey protein after my workouts, and the rest of my protein through food.
