Apple Cobbler
Vacation time was made for relaxing and we lucked out with a great mountain view, apple trees, and hydrangeas in the front yard. Apple trees fresh-baked apple goodies including this easy apple cobbler. I think this may have been everyone’s favorite apple dessert while we were on vacation in North Carolina.
This easy apple cobbler is just that – EASY. The topping reminds me a lot of a sugar cookie dough, but it doesn’t taste like that. It was the cookie consistency when I was mixing it up. The fresh apples were delicious and I’m so glad we were able to pick so many.
Not having measuring cups or a hand mixer, we just “eye-balled” the measurements and I mixed everything in a bowl. Also, the pan I used was more like 9×13 and it turned out just great. Everyone even asked me to make another batch as soon as this one was gone (after only 15 minutes!).

This looks wonderful. Apple Cobbler is one of my favorites.
Great recipe! Thanks for sharing this
I love apple cobbler! Thanks for this recipe!
Just made this and LOVE it! Super easy! I think next time I will use less sugar but overall…delish!
So I made this and it got REALLY liquidy so maybe I didn’t need the water in the recipe 🙁
Oh! I’m sorry, Beth Anne. I didn’t have that problem and I’ve made it a few times now. If you try it again, maybe leave out the water? Let me know if that works for you.
I made this today and it was easy and delish, but I too think I will make with less water. I like my crust firmer. However it was not liquidy
It is easy to make it. Thank for your post
You’re welcome!
