You hear it all the time – ‘I can’t believe the year is over already’ – and I’ve been guilty of saying it more and more as the years pass by. In my 40’s, I feel like so much of life passes quickly and to quote Ferris Bueller, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”
To wrap up this year and throw it in a closet might be what I would have said in February when my mother in law passed away, but I know she would have wanted us to cherish every moment of the year. Watching the children grow, cherishing time with my husband, and striving to reach our goals.
